Okay, yes, looting is ongoing in London. It's scary both in the nature of the violence and the unpredictability of selected locations. It was particularly unnerving when I was unable to stop at any store on my way home from work yesterday - they were all shut and boarded early. The distant presence of police helicopters and spotlights didn't help
