More Camp news
Orlando's doing pretty well, except he keeps lots of his emotions hidden inside. He disappears to help others, when he probably should concentrate on himself.
I'm there for Orlando, I support him and love him. I would do anything for him. I talked with Jake and we decided to get Sidi, Orli's dog, to the camp to help Orli. He cheered up a lot and Sidi's a wonderful dog! So playful and affectionate, a true friend. Orlando has other friends too, like Scarlett and Jake and Billy.
Despite of the obvious love Orlando has for me, I still feel lonely. There was one time in particular. I was feeling ill in the evening and Orlando was worried, he said he'd be my nurse and watch out for me. But when I woke up the next morning he was gone, well actually he never stayed. I had no idea where he was. The first thing that came to my mind was that he's hurt himself or done something to himself again. I wasn't ill, but I did expect him to be there for me. I was pretty upset and the talk I had with Dan that morning about Orli's flirting didn't help the matter. I went for a long walk and I didn't see Orli until the night. He was worried about me and a part of me was happy that for once he was the one who was worried. I told him that he doesn't really care about me. I know he loves me but sometimes I don't think he's there for me the same way I'm there for him. We made up and he promised to try and stop the flirting. The thing is that he doesn't know the difference between being friendly and flirting. But from now on he's going to work on that, for me.
We had a great movie evening with Drew, Greg, Dan and Scarlett. It was a great evening and I was so glad that Dan was there. We've both felt ourselves lonely. Hopefully Dan knows now that he has friends at the Camp. I know I'm happy to have Dan there for me, since I don't really have any other friends here. I've told him that I'm there for him too anytime he needs to talk to someone.
Later that night Orli and me with Scarlett run into Jake at the cafeteria and this new guy Charlie showed up. There was this weird vibe coming from that guy. He's really gorgeous, but he seems a bit dangerous. Orli was kind of territorial around me, but also with Scarlett and again I felt odd. They were holding hands and joking, then Orlando said that he could sleep with Scarlett the night. And that hit me pretty hard. I was really tired and uncomfortable with this guy staring at us and Orli holding hands with Scarlett. So I took off.
We made up and everything's fine, though I'm still lonely, when Orlando spends time with other and at the same time I don't have anyone. I hope Dan and I can hang out more, the two lonely ones. We can spend time and help each other when we're homesick or when we miss our parents and friends.
