I haven't heard the song but a lot of songs out there these days are like that. Sounds kinda like "Self-Esteem" from Offspring, but of coruse the Offspring song had a male point of view.

Maybe the guy 1) has low self esteem 2) doens't think he can do any better or maybe the woman is 1) really hot or 2) really rich and the guy doens't wanna work? I don't know.
