It's like I've given up worrying if people from opposing groups want to avoid me for being a Chloiser, I've had to just accept and tolerate it, what with how widespead that pre-judgement has become. And I'm sure a lot of Cloiser's feel the same way when it comes to Chlois or Chlark fans perhaps not being open to friendship with them

But still I do wish that people could at least leave one another alone in their dislike, and stop stirring up nonexistent wank with viruses and trolling LJ's, only to turn out neither actually happenned. And even with things like Nyonyo setting up a fun Chlois challenge comm, which specifically didn't have any Lois bashing, it still ended up getting mocked on antichlois And, according to the user info page on that comm, Chlois supporters are "Chloe Sullivan nazi fans" o_0 I mean "Nazi's" really, it reminds me of the KKK icon comparison all over again, when it's not like anyone's out there killing people in the name of Smallville

It's like I was saying on Nyonyo's post, I can understand people suspecting that A Chlark or Chlois fan could have maybe been behind a "virus" (or rick roll which it apparently actually was), and maybe Shelly really did believe that was the case. But why then have an entry calling out all of Chlark and Chlois fandom as if we are some collective monstrous entity. Right down to claiming that Craig and DI mods saw Chlarker's openly laughing on LJ about spreading a virus.

It seems that you would only believe that (if shelly did genuinally believe that was the case) if you had some severe intolerance for opposing opinions in SV fandom, for your mind to immediately go there and attack others as a group of people, instead of whoever the random person was who gave you the link. And then be determined to stir up drama, and play the victim when people ask if you have proof of this

Okay, back to discussion now, I don't know. My guess is that she's had some run in's during her time spent in the fandom apparently with some hateful Chlarker/Chloiser's and she can't fully distinguish one person from the whole of that particular camp in fandom. So, it's easier for her to just blame them all, because if one is bad then surely the rest must be as well.

I really can't speak on her mentality as far as that goes, because I don't know myself either. It would seem that way to me, as well. But, maybe she's just the type of person who just enjoys starting drama and then playing the victim. She's not happy unless everyone else is unhappy and therefore that will give her a reason to be unhappy as well. IDEK.

That's what a lot of Chlarkers or nyonyo's friends have been wondering too. To be honest, I have seen a lot of people that do it. Then when they're caught, they delete their journals or run away. It's the same every time. It's not really like plagiarizing stories at all, but the same behavior can be seen for both. We just have no idea why she did it the second time around; perhaps she thought she wouldn't get caught, since she f-locked nearly everything.

Nyonyo didn't really care if she was just copying icon style, but Inklane copied the littlest things too. Everything Nyonyo did for her fandom, Inklane had to have the same thing, but for Lois. It was creepy.

I had no idea that a few Clois fans were going around damning other fellow fans who happen to also like Chloe. ): That just really sucks. I don't care about bashing fictional characters, but honestly, attacking other fans is just too much. Characters = FICTIONAL. Fans are real people, and they have real feelings. People tend to forget that when they're behind a computer screen, and so they're more likely to stab a friend's back. I'm sorry that happened to you, hon. *HUGS

Yeah I'm the same, I wouldn't even use my Chlois icon in a Cloiser's LJ because of basic respect, and I've always warned in my entires if I'm going to rant on any of the characters. But people will make assumptions about the kind of person you are just because of the characters or the ship that you support. It's very discouraging

Well, you don't have to worry about using your Chlois icon in my journal. Dude, there used to be a time when certain icons of certain ships or character's would bug me, but I think I'm totally over that now. Right now, the only icons that might bug me are political ones, because I'm not a political person at all and I'd rather just not see that in my journal. lol. Other than that, feel free to use whatever you want.
