Derek does something odd.

Like show up in Trans.

He's looking for Adrian.

He's also keeping a low profile if he can.

He notes the damage, wonders what happened.

And waits.

Adrian happens by, carting a laptop he's recovered from the remains of his office. When he spies Derek, he slows down, and wanders over.

"Odd place for you to be."

Derek watches this, concern linguring in the back of his eyes.

"Yeah. I was looking for you though. Figured this would be the best place to start. What happened here?"

((OOC:Looks like we're on vastly diff scheduals at the moment--still, I'm willing to take my time if you are. ^^))

He glances around, shrugging lightly. There's a table with a dusty vase, so he scoots it over enough for him to set down the laptop.

"The hotel happened to appear in Detroit on one world long enough to fall into a fluke sinkhole. What can I do for you?"

((I don't mind a slower pace at all.))

"That sucks," Derek commented quietly, "Is everyone all right?"

He glanced around again, and already knew the answer was probably going to be 'no', but he was concerned enough to ask anyway.

"I just had some questions about dhampire, and to see how you were doing."
