Trudy wandered through the market, keeping an eye out for something they might eat at the feast. She was a vegetarian of course, but the others weren't, and it would be nice to have something for everyone. Maybe someone might have a chicken or a few eggs to sell, or maybe she could find something that was sweet - like real chocolate, not those ( Read more... )

Moz, wandering the market, paused when she saw Trudy. She debated a moment before coming up behind her. "Well, what do we have here? Shopping, Trudy? Why? Have the Mallrats got something to celebrate? Salene's rise to City Leader? Amazing how a Mallrat always gets that job. But I'm sure that's just a coincedence...isn't it?"

Trudy turns around, eying the catsuited girl. "Hello, Moz." she says coolly. "If you have a complaint about how the city voted, you could always come check the votes yourself." She turns back to bargaining with the vendor.

Moz scowled at Trudy's dismissal. Coming up to the market stall, she purposefully grabbed a piece of food Trudy had reached for. "So, there's a rumor my Mosquitos started hanging around the Mall. Wouldn't know anything about that, would you? Or where they might be now?"

Trudy allows a flash of irritation to cross her face. Gone were the days when she'd cower in fear at the idea of someone getting in her face, though. She'd been through too much for that. "The last I heard, pretty much all the Mozzies were rounded up by the Technos." she says. "There have been a few here and there, but they seemed singled out, not living together as a tribe. One of them became a Mallrat, yes - but since Ram's defeat, she's disappeared as well. I think she may have run off with a boy she'd fallen in love with."
