[. Opinions On . ]

Gay Marrige- I think it should be completely legal. Just as most of the people of the younger generations. In America, we are supposed to have freedom of religion and the pursuit of happiness but I think that homosexuals are being denyed that if they cannot be married legally in our "O-So-Free America". Getting married legally in a goverment facility has nothing to do with religion, church or anything like that. Therefore, the government shouldn't be considering Religion, when they are making decisions on this issue. But they are. If they hadn't, same sex marriage would already be legal. I think if this decision was being made by this generation, it wouldn't even be an issue. Because When two people are in love, they should not be denyed the beauty of marriage, legal marriage, in the country in which they reside. So I believe that same sex marriage should be legal.

Abortion- I think abortion should stay legal but I also think that people use it as an easy way out of pregnancy without thinking of the consquences. That you are in fact talking a life, and people dont think about that anymore. People think that getting pregnant is nothing anymore because that "problem" can be resolved at any hospital or free clinic. I would never be able to get an abortion. And I think that abortion should be taken more seriously by the majority of our generation.

[. Essay .]

Who's your role model or Hero -If I had to pick, I'd pick my mom. And I know that's what most people say but I really mean it. My parent's divorced when I was a lot younger and my Dad couldn't pay my mom child support. So my mom basically raised my brother and me single-handedly. She became a registered nurse for Southside Hospital and works there five days a week, all day. And she still managed to clean the house, cook dinner, go to soccer games, and spend time with her children. And she also managed to pay for my brother to go to SUNY Albany. So yea, my mom is definantly my role model.
