(no subject)
Well this is a pleasant gift.. Shizune-san sent my old formal kimono to me. I haven't worn it in a very long time, but it still seems to fit. She found the picture I took with Jiraiya and Orochimaru, too.. has it really been so long? I still remember them so clearly.
I wasn't planning to go to the friendship ball at all, I haven't been terribly motivated to.. but I think I will anyway. I need to do more than work in my office and teach my class. Besides, I can already hear the music, and it sounds fun. Maybe I'll even get asked to dance. Hm.
Off I go to finish getting dressed and see what's going on.. have I yet mentioned that the teacher's baths are wonderful? Some days, I just fall asleep in there, it's so relaxing.
