Guess the book:
"It's a really good love story that has fantasy," said Emma Quan, 18. "It's like 'Harry Potter' plus romance plus good-looking people."

I have heard only great things about Avatar: The Last Airbender! I think I would like it, but it's one of those things that seems like I will never get around to watching it because I always have something else to do.

Hating Twilight is one of my favorite hobbies, though! I recently read all the books too and I look forward to seeing the movie even though I find the books to be the worst I have ever read, ssdkljgsd.

Hee! That love-to-hate/hate-to-love with that book series seems to define the reading "relationship" of that book, at least with the folks I know RL (and I was completely surprised by how many closeted Twilight fans there are in my circle of friends. It was only a matter of time before we all found each other out!). I kinda wanna watch the movie, too, but I'll probably end up alone and my Twilight-reading friends have sworn up and down not to stand in line with TwiMoms and Rob Patty's teen girl squad.

Re: Avatar
It is rad! Too bad Nick doesn't re-air past episodes (it messes up their six-hour SpongeBob lineup >_< ), but if the fancy seizes you, you can watch it here. First two episodes are slow and exposition-y, but it really picks up after that.

I've seen a couple of episodes of Avatar and I really liked it, so I'll have to see the whole series - episode binge time!!

I never really got Nick's obsession w/ Spongebob, but I suppose it brings in ratings or summin'. My cousin watches it obsessively, but I always thought it was too silly :S

Oh, and re: Twilight; my first knowledge of the book was through a Head Trip comic. From reviews I think I won't really like it, but I've been wrong plenty of times before . Guess I'll have to read it.

Eek, sorry for the super-late reply!

Re: Avatar and Spongebob. It was the Spongebob lineup that initially turned me off to Avatar until my sister forced convinced me to watch "just ONE!" episode, and I was hooked. We got S3 a couple of weeks ago. :D

I heard about Twilight from ONTD. Ahahaha. Did you get around to ever reading it or watching the movie?
