google john titor. while it's highly likely that he was a hoax i can't find anything definately proving he wasn't real. i'm sure there are other examples as well. people aren't ready to believe that it's possible so people will assume it's a hoax. the majority of the world's top physicists admit that it is theoretically possible to travel back in time it's just incredibly difficult.
