Sorry---Wasn't expecting people that quick--there's some titles now
Yeah, the newer stuff seems kinda out of place, but the older, cooler looking stuff is on the other side of campus. There's a lot more of that kinda stuff on the quad, but i olny had a disposable camera so that's about it.
Ah, much better - wow, I guess I just timed my log-in perfectly, huh? All that recreational stuff is pretty sweet.
The mem union, quad, journalism school et. al. looks nice - that's sort of how everything here looks, except that it's a little bit more cohesive (we do have the occasional building that is a bit too ostentatious, though, which may aptly describe mem union). That's how I feel a college should look - or at least the immediate campus.
The other, residential buildings are what I don't like quite as much. Looks pretty empty - is there anything going on in that town?
This was at like 1020 in the morning so most people were either still in bed or just chilling somewhere between classes...With an undergrad of like 25,000 or so, there are quite a few people around just not so much during the morning or in between classes.
That is a fucking impressive campus. I love the lighting in that rec room. It's like at an upscale restaurant or something.
I agree with Pat, though; it's almost like some of those are trying too hard, with all the glass and superflously odd architecture. Function following form, indeed.
Hey--well that's two posts that got ahead of me...the memorial union and the stuff on the quad is kinda seperated, but i do agree that some is a bit out of place
Magazine currently, but I don't have to decide on a sequence till my second sem of soph year. (sequence being 5 strands of journalism: news ed, mag, broadcast, advertising, or convergence)
the first picture where you say "or here" referring to your living quarters.... yeah, you cant live tehre. its ALL GIRLS... and thast where I live.... -andi
Umm, Andi...i kinda know that...it was just for the effect of showing what a shithole Gillett is. Besides, I wouldn't even wanna live there anyways with all the nice architecture, so there. Geez...

You have some really sweet-looking parts of campus, but some of those buildings seem very unoriginally suburban.
Hey, is that pool in your dorm? Cause if it is, that's pretty frickin' sweet.
