This time I Need to know. Are you there?

Jul 13, 2006 10:50

It's strange. As often as I poked fun at the over abundance of drama in Hogwart's, I never thought I would sort of miss it. I was keeping fairly busy with gigs and girls and a few other things but it just seems like... something's missing, you know? But I guess that's the transition from Wizard life to Muggle life... Things tend to calm down more ( Read more... )

I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time, but you have to admit your mum being hit on when she's there for her son is rather amusing. Wish I could have been there to see you beat him, that would have been even better!!

((...errr Meda & Teddy-poo have talked, and Ted went to see her in the dorms actually...not sure where the thread is, but I thought I'd let you know! :D *throws confetti* WELCOME HOME BACK!!))

I guess. I mean, my mum's a beautiful woman but... she's my Mum.

In retrospect though, I guess it is amusing. But you're right; me kicking the dirty bastard out the door was much better.

((Ah, I wasn't aware of that. :D Oh well, being as she's not with him, it couldn't have gone too well according to his standards. I'm so glad to be back in the ever-confusing world of _Levi.))

Ha. I don't miss the violent drama. But social drama is entertaining. It's like interactive television.

I mostly just think the interactive television hurts.

I wish things would calm down. Sometimes I wish I was muggleborn, I wouldn't get the Daily Prophet or have to deal with wizards popping by to say hello when I'm in my pjs. Wizards have the worst timing.

Does your Mum still want a friend in the area? I'm thinking of setting up my Mom with a playdate so she gets out of the damn house.

I've been getting the Daily Prophet. Things are pretty bad, aren't they? ...Hmm. I was unaware that wizards were more inclined to untimeliness than muggles. You learn something new everyday.

Yeah, actually. That might get her off my arse a little too...

Wizards are less obsessed with time, I find...and also when they show up places.

Great! Give me your number, I'll have my Mum call you. They can get together for coffee and chitchat.

I agree with that sort of. I hadn't thought of it that way before. There's murders and terrible things done because of muggle prejudices too. It just seems like prejudices are so much more of an issue in the Wizarding world. I mean even Hogwart's has a house that only allows Purebloods.

True, true. Now that I think about it, it's been a lot worse in the muggle world if you look at mass events of hate like the Holocaust or the settling of America with the Natives and all that.

The scary thing, though, is that people are becoming more tolerant in the Muggle world but with all of the mysterious murders and things, the Wizarding world seems on a downward slope.

Food... psch. Hogwarts has homemade food... or castlemade food. Elfmade food?

Still, food that's made. You know?

It's not Home-made though. I've grown up on this stuff. Mostly potatoes and cabbage sort of things but my mum's Irish. Can't blame her for it. ;)
