Maybe it is just me, but that thing looks huge. I'm used to our bunnies which are pretty small and I think that could take down cats and small/medium size dogs. O_o

It is cute, though!

yep, hares are BIG (compared to wild rabbits, i mean!). all leg, and they're really fast. amazing things!

oh - do you have them in NZ? i know rabbits got pretty much everywhere, but unless someone imported hares for coursing, i assume you're SORRY! hareless?

Oh, a hare! Pretty.

They sometimes come into our backyard, too, but I didn't get the chance to take a picture of one yet, as they run away very fast as soon as I open the door. Most of the time only the pebbles are proof that they have ever been here.
