Maybe it is just me, but that thing looks huge. I'm used to our bunnies which are pretty small and I think that could take down cats and small/medium size dogs. O_o

yep, hares are BIG (compared to wild rabbits, i mean!). all leg, and they're really fast. amazing things!

Wow, I knew hares were big, but I don't think I've ever seen a photo of one. That's enormous!

oh - do you have them in NZ? i know rabbits got pretty much everywhere, but unless someone imported hares for coursing, i assume you're SORRY! hareless?

Oh, a hare! Pretty.

They sometimes come into our backyard, too, but I didn't get the chance to take a picture of one yet, as they run away very fast as soon as I open the door. Most of the time only the pebbles are proof that they have ever been here.

God that looks good. I've only ever had it with wild boar, which was nomsome as well.
