*preens* though "harbouring" sounds a bit dubious. i am just feeding them and then getting tripped up a lot. (why do they have to be where my feet are about to go? the stray thinks you have stood on her on purpose and hisses and runs off. YOU WENT UNDER A DESCENDING FOOT ON PURPOSE. do not make me feel guilty!)
It's so annoying isn't it?! Suzie (the one who spends days outdoors) tries to trip me every single day when I get home--assuming she's ready to come in. If not, then later on I will suddenly hear a CRASHBANG as she launches herself at the side door and gives me a heart attack. I immediately jump up an let her in. She's got me trained up just right.
If you end up inviting her back, she can probably eventually be trained out of that. Nora is now All About sleeping in, and even the Backup Cat has already figured out that yowling in the a.m. does not bring snacks faster. (now she flops down with us in bed and pokes me with her TINY, FLUFFY PAWSIES EEEEEE. Ahem. It's not very effective, but it is cute.)
I've had tuna in a can, no sauce. The cats and I like it. I'm not huge fish fan (or a Phish fan, if anyone was wondering) and may possibly be allergic to shellfish, so there's not been much investigation of that part of the grocery.
next door inform me she has taken to sleeping in their house and often wants out at 4am. under the circumstances i am happy to let them have her overnight! (farmcat is now in and smallcat has gone out after being super-annoying and attention-wanting for an hour or two. if only they were less cute...)

awwwwwwwwwwww. though due to allergies, no cats will be allowed in my bedroom, ever!
canned tuna is a totally different category of fish-in-a-tin. you must be educated!
What Blue said! And scrappy black kitty must've been domesticated at some point, because despite some hard work on me and my mum's parts, our half-wild outdoor kitty was never comfortable inside, even after ten years of regular food and gentle treatment. <3333
yes, she's clearly been a pet in the past - already she's rolling over and wriggling for belly rubs (and leaning to roll and missing the chair leg and falling over, eheheh.) but apparently she's been roaming about for a year or two at least, getting into fights with various neighbourhood cats - including "our" farmcat, apparently! her ears are both a right mess, all notched and ragged at the ends.
NO. those are just fairy lights that live on the window all year round. (i have no small lamps and it means you can read in the window seat after dark (i.e. about 3pm here right now)).

Nope, still never seen tinned fish-in-sauce in person. Not sure I really want to!

it's oily fish! mackerel or sardines, generally. white fish in a can might be less nice.
