Also, if you had a storm warning for your area, remember you have to cycle all the way back against the wind that you enjoyed cycling with it!

Not that that happened to me tonight. ;p

Those cycling overshoes should go on the list of things I should buy before the winter is over.

ahaha, yes, i have experienced that problem myself!

they were twice as much as my old ones, but the old ones are really only good for the summer (and not very waterproof) (and are falling apart after getting a lot of use in the wet this summer). whereas these ones are big, bulky, ugly and COSY (and waterproof too!). i approve.

It's not like that hadn't happened to me before. But obviously I didn't learn my lesson. Though in my defence, it started raining about a minute after I turned around to cycle back and that threw of my regular "one third of energy for the way there and two thirds of energy for the way back" calculation even more than that heavy wind. Still stupid of me. And I bet I will forget that again sometime in the future. Because I am stupid like that.

Well, my feet don't care how they look. They do care about how they feel, though and they like the sound of "cosy". So if Santa leaves enough money under the tree for me, they go on the list of things to buy in January.
