not NEARLY enough words. have just checked and my undergrad dissertation was also 12,000 words! (and, yes, technically that was also an MA, but only because scotland: doing education our own way since 1496.)

what's your LOWER limit? i bet you've written more than half of that. also, appendix material can sometimes be JUST as relevant in the main text. not that i have ever cut & pasted such things across... *helpful*

hence today spent doing appendices which since it is (in theory) map sciencey stuff is mostly tables, graphs and twenty fucking three individual viewsheds ;p

ahhh, lovely viewsheds! there's a report done for HS in 2008 on the setting of the WHS that has... a lot of viewsheds. a lot a lot. it's sort of epic, but i can only imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth it must have caused the authors! it includes "sensitive ridgelines" too - which always reminds me that i might have read rather too much porn because oh the mental images. (especially re: garak/bashir!)
