I just got done watching Requiem For A Dream again and once again I was moved by the character's performance and emotion. It was like the whole time, you were in a  place of no escape. Select motives and situations flooded your mind as you began to realize there was no escape from the world you were living in. God, I wanted to cry for them.

Sometimes life isn't as difficult as you think it to be. A lot of the time what we want in life and what we think we need/deserve in life is right in front of our faces. Many people go through life searching for a deeper side of things, when in reality, there was a 'no searching required' sign posted in front of them, they just didn't see it. It seems to me that you are looking for friends, attention, companionship. But if the opportunity presented itself...would you take it? Or push it away? Are you just looking for companionship with a certain type of person? The same deep thinker that you are? Because I can tell you, from experience, it doesn't work out that way. Life isn't like the dream we have in our heads. There are all different types of people out there. How can we expect to reach them if we don't get to know them? You could be pushing all kinds of people away from you who want nothing more than to just love you and be your friend. You never know, you might end up even pushing away the one person who will mean the most to you ( ... )

You said you are looking for someone who thinks like you. You're pretty young, things may change for you. You may see things in a different light. You will grow, they will grow. All I am saying is don't shut anyone out and don't exclude anyone. Even if you never change and continue to think this way, remember this...all different kinds of people can teach you different things. Just because you don't think the same way or you don't act the same way, or your maturity level is different...does not mean they can not be of some use to your life. All different kinds of people involved in your life, it is needed. No matter how much we don't want to deal with them...it's important. Very. Now I have a question for you...what was the truest thing you needed to hear? What is it that I said that you heard and took to heart to much? We can dream and have passions about so many things, but in the end, God gets our lives. He will decide.

I know that people from all different levels of maturity and people that carry all different characteristics have something to offer; I live by that. It's just that I long for someone to relate to, someone as deep as I or even deeper to converse with. That is something I hope after. But, unfortunately, in the process of trying to find people like that the qualities that I only try to see push back the qualities that the walking common man has. This, I try to prevent. But I'm definitely aware of it ( ... )
