I love how everyone is a little blind. people called it green on my myspace, and I'd consider it blue. looking at where the color sits pantone-wise we're all kinda right.
I've actually been reading up on some old japanese color theory like that. They generally don't differentiate between yellow and blue and green and black, although it's becoming more western as time progresses.
erm potheads? they might spell it with a Z. It's kinda a riff on the format figure/dunny, except the top is open so you can plant...plants. I'm not sure how functional it is with the legs that small, but I guess they're seven inches tall, so mebbe you can get your shrub on.
there's an open contest for two amateurs to get their recolor jobs into the "signature series"
thanks! I'm becoming more and more drawn to colorist/inker work, which is totally out of character for me. I actually colored/inked a corner of one of your benchilada pages, randomly. It was less tragic than the time I tried to ink Cold with the smudge tool.
I finally just watched the Kino extra...and I LOVED IT!! It worked on my comp, thank god, and thanks for giving it to me, it's kinda weird tho, watching something that kind of resembles your own life. btw, awesome designs, you submitted one for the t shirts right? emj
the tower story or the young kino story? when was the last time you were sent to kill a delusional old woman? That one really caught me off guard, considering how placid the show was. They're doing a full-length movie for april, set a few years after the series.
I have two other shows for you when you have time, one ( mushishi) is very similar ( but more grim and twice as long) and the the other ( haibane renmei) just has the same tone.
