Thanks to everyone for your assistance. I am soon to be the proud owner of a Canon 10D Dslr with Battery grip and 1gig mem card. Its' more than I wnated to spend, but It's stilla considerable savings. The Body usually goes for $750 to $800 and teh Grip for $150-$180 plus the gig card is $100 -$150 so I don't feel ripped off one bit ( Read more... )

Well finally got word. My dad's O.K.. Power keeps going in and out, as well as the phone, but it was all just big wind. Hurricane Ivan treated him worse last year when it flooded to his door (5' off the ground), but this year things just got blown around.

That helps with one chunk of recent stress...hehe
