Business called Deacon out of town for the week. Recently he'd made inroads towards establishing himself in Orange County, California. Now the bar that he'd bought out and remodeled into a club more in his own style was ready for its grand opening. ((Hmm. That does make quite a bit more sense... I dunno, I pictured skylight when he was tearing through the roof. But through the roof roof makes it so much more brutal, and vampires would be kinda antsy around a skylight. Okay, nix that!

((Been wondering when you'd ask that. Same place Blade does, of course! "This ain't exactly the March of Dimes!" Difference is, without all that valuable-metal weaponry that gets left everywhere, serum, gas, all that base-level equipment, Nomak can put a MUCH higher percentage of it towards outside help.

And hey, haven't you noticed the slight rise in familiar-deaths going around? Those hunters are really going after whoever they can find, aren't they? *Innocent look*))
