That's funny, because my mom told me about it too. But, it really is amazing.

what is it about?

This woman wants to photograph the red light district in India, particularly Calcutta, in the brothels and such. But, she just didn't want to go to and take pictures, she wanted to live there and get to know the people. While living there she met all the children that were born into the brothels and became really close with them. She started teaching the kids photography and gave them all cameras. It follows the kids around and the woman holds exhibitions selling the kids photography to raise money to get them out of the brothels into boarding schools. I really enjoyed it.
