Abortions?

i think abortion should be a last option, not just some kind of birth control. and in the case of rape, or it is a health risk to either the baby or the mother, then it is okay. I dunno, I guess it can never be really justified.

what about the times when parents find out that their baby has down syndrom and then decideto abort it?

that is a tough one. honestly, I don't know how to answer that because I have never been in that situation and have never had to make such a decision. so i really cant fully comprehend their thought process.

lol!! thats understandable. I dot into a huge argment witha friend over this lol he insists that abortions are like murder...yea i disargee but oh well!

Legal - Choice

I'm not a woman, so I think it is more their issue. However, a potential father be considered in the decision, but it's still th woman's body. All precautions should of course be taken.

i think it absolutley should be a woman's choice. It's her body, her uterus, her right to decide what happens with it.

It's a womans right to chose. The government should have no say in the choices we make regarding our bodies. Besides, you can't actually stop abortions from happening. When they outlawed alcohol, it was still made and distributed, it just went underground. Same thing would happen with abortions. A lot more women would be putting their lives at risk attempting to abort the baby themself.
Women are going to want to end their pregnancies whether it's legal or not. Legalization just guarantees a safe means of providing that abortion.

totally agree especially about the fact that women would just hurt themselves..i had a friend who threw herself down the stairs..thank god nothing serious happened to her

yea..I tried to talk her out of it..then after she did it her parents found out why..& it actually didn't work so her mom took her to get an abortion in the hospital

i agree its not gov.'s right especially when Bush is against abortions yet he goes to Iraq and kills people not only that he toruchers people and god knows what else he does yet he says he's against abortions..that just pisses me off

its people such as you that promote such hyppocritical propoganda that are responcible for this country's poor, undecated, and terrible economic state. Next time, before speaking please concider using your brain for a split second if that is possible ..at all and at least try not to come off as a demagogue & please write your name down :)
