you don't need a sommelier when you're drinking pabst

sometimes a house can smell so much like a house you used to know that you just can't take it any more; no matter how many people are smoking and you've got to leave or else.

and that sucks because you missed the s'mores.

riley.

new york city has me enthralled.
in a very fritz lang sort of way.
i do suppose this place isn't as scary as i thought.

two days at the metropolitan museum of art spent with dull pencil to crisp paper and words in foreign languages spilling forth to instruct french tourists this way and that. central park left me un-mugged and smiling with mulberries in mouth.

i saw rent with my dad the other night. and when i cried as angel walked off stage, in a long white sheet, i thought of our hysteria in eighth grade merely walking into the theater. upstaging everyone from mr. casagrade to seasoned broadway stars.

montreal is calling. nate, his sister sarah[who is wonderful], and myself are headed up there after family vacation. two weeks. come with us. fly to boston, drive to montreal, get franco-fied.

telephone.

Mr Casagrande mentioned you two when I walked in with a Rent soundtrack one day. He was like "they were crazy." and i looked at him with my best maniacal gleam and said "you say that like you think i'm the least bit sane." He kind of wandered off mumbling to himself in a frantic attempt not to engage my attentions anymore.

that casagrande, always so awkward in the social settings.
are his movements still affected with the caffeine-induced quivers?
is his head still exposed to uv rays with a flesh-hued sheen?
does he still laugh harder at his own jokes than is reasonable?

glad to know we spawned a legacy.

i'll bring home the turkey if you'll bring home the bacon. anonymous July 24 2004, 06:07:22 UTC
i was at the burger king. [why was i there you may ask? oh yes....my father was hungry] went to drive up window. man in front on me taking extra time to decide which fat meals he wants. boy of about twenty is walking across the taco bell parking lot towards my car. i look innocently at the menu. out of the corner of my eye i see him bending down 3 feet away from my car. [right about now i wished i had power windows because the passenger side window was wide open]. he asks me about my rims. he asks me what year it is. he says "is this a 2002?" i hold up 4 fingers, he raises his eyebrows. then he goes on to tell me about his brother's tinted windows and black rims and how black rims would look nice on my car. meanwhile...guy in front of me is STILL deciding. the guy then says "what are you doing tonight?" i say "going out" he says "oh. you wanna go out with me?" he smiles. i say "uh...no thanks." then he smiles again and says "i know this is weird. its probably wierder for me. but thats just the kind of guy i am" so then i pull forward ( ... )
