Sooooo. I am getting a new camera tomorrow. I'm so excited! Samy's Camera is having a tax-free sale starting tomorrow and I am going to pick up a Nikon D80, f1.4/50mm lens and a bag (89% discount on that - woo!) for about $1,100 which is a great deal for me. There were some deals on teh internets but they rarely contain the manufacturer's warranty

I'm so excited for you; I've had my eye on the new D40. It isnt nearly as fancy as the 80, or hell the 200, but it has enough stuff on it to keep me entertained. Have fun at the camera store tomorrow, and enjoy the new toy. Let me know how it works out for you.
