Retarded Ebay Question

i just tried to buy something on ebay, but my mac keeps coming up with this message and wont let me buy anything:

"Your web browser may not be compatible with eBay's checkout. Please try again with Mozilla Firefox."

which i dont get cos ive been buying stuff off ebay from this laptop for 2 years just fine without it ever saying this, so like,

Have you updated lately? If you have, it could be that eBay haven't... : / Best to keep Firefox on your system. Some people still won't code sites properly in Safari.
