ok, here is an actual attempt to follow the rules. I would recommend speeding up the play on this one though.

Mona Snape...uh?

P.S. Don't look, Sigune!!!

I like it! The background is especially good...sort of impressionist-influenced, I'd bet...

At first I thought, well, I can't draw on that, but once you start it's really fun to do it, so here's my entry ;) at least what I could come up with.

That was fantastic! I don't know how you did it, even though I was able to watch it on playback. Even seeing how it's done, I would not be able to do it myself. The only sad part is, I don't think the pictures can be printed out and saved. It would be nice to frame them all.

Thanks for dropping by and submitting an entry! If people enjoy this, I plan to make this a monthly contest with a new theme each month. Artpad is addicting, isn't it? I've played around on it all day when I should have been writing. :-)

Loved your ARB illustrations, by the way!

I gave it a shot. Use a mouse to draw is a real bitch. But it was fun

Nicely done! Thanks for dropping by. I don't know how you were able to write so neatly with the mouse. I can't keep my hand steady enough.

There a capital "T" at the top of the tool bar and next to the color chart, that lets you type what you want on your picture.

larilee wrote an entry about your idea. It's very interesting. I wish I were not suck at art...
Anyway your little drawing is cute. And I love your icons too.

Thanks, atlantel! sigune designed my icons. I hope you'll reconsider and draw a picture. The only purpose of this "contest" is to make me laugh and have some fun. You don't have to be a great artist. :-)

But I don't even know how to draw a simple apple :) Maybe I will try this weekend. Who knows... I will let you know.

Btw, I don't know if it is what you want but there is a mistake in your "sous-titre". The end is not "pas il ?" but "n'est-ce pas ?". I hope you don't mind :)

Thanks, atlantel! I studied French in school, but it's been many years and I'm very rusty. I didn't trust myself. My first inclination was to go with "n'est-ce pas", but I ran it through the online translator and it offered the other translation. I've heard several people complain that the online translations are often incorrect, so now I've learned the lesson the hard way! I'll gladly make the correction, and I appreciate your taking the time to let me know.

Here, I contribute another one - my favourite so far:

Why Dumbledore trusts (Mona) Snape.

I failed to include any magical artifacts and the painting sadly lacks one of EllieK's dramatic skies (are your sky-services for hire, Liz?), but there is a compensation, I think :-).

That is just too funny! I love it!!! It looks as though Snape is having his own Burning Day! When the contest is over, I will organized everyone's contributions in a new post so they will be easier to find and enjoy. Thanks, Sigune!

I had to have a chuckle at that comment. Dramatic skies, eh? You cannot afford my services, but I know a two year old girl who draws just as well and she will work for a juice box. :)

As always, you did a fabulous job! I think that Fawkes should count as a magical artifact. That little bugger is old and magical. What do you think, Karina?
