Weird things happen when you get whacked by serious lightning. Many years ago, nineteen (19) members of the Strange family in North Carolina were struck at the same instant when they all leaned against a chain-link fence at a July 4 fireworks display. well you get points for listening to 1349

but being as how i was at one point far to the Left, and an avowed atheist... with respect to many pagan religions... and am now a devout practicing Roman Catholic with an interest in joining the priesthood... all i can say is... both sides have incredibly inaccurate accusations and make tons of generalisations to avoid facing facts and adjusting themselves accordingly.

its a war of who can be the most stubborn on an issue while slandering the other side for their obstinance. i am quite certain Hunter S. Thompson ruled in his own kingdom of fear, and likewise had as many good qualities that were overlooked when people blindly attacked him.

people suck. except for Jesus. thats my stance.

well i quoted that piece here because it's provocative hence attractive for me :) i'm not aligned to any of the religions myself, i'm just reading and learning...

I would imagine you would find the gospels attractive then... one man, threatening and defying 1,000 years of tradition and belief, all the while claiming to not only be fulfilling those beliefs, but to be God himself. Nevermind making enemies with the Roman empire and the Jewish theo-political stronghold. Rather provocative.
