Finally, somebody had answers. Any answers. When security called and said that someone was in the lab, I knew it had to be her. Oh, and Knox had to be with her. Who else could it have been? Well, I guess some random tech person, but why would security have called just for that

"Hope you don't mind Wesley, but Cordy and I have been in your office all day reading every single little thing in every single book you had," I told him. "We've come up with some pretty interesting details, some of which we were kind of hoping you might be able to shed some light on."
I had my thumb stuck inbetween the pages in one of the books I was holding, I cracked it open and handed it over to Wesley. "Now I know that because these books are yours, you've probably seen all this before, but we figured what we'd found might be of some importance."
I pointed with my finger to certain passages in the book that gave reference to this 'Qwa'ha Xahn', and anything else regarding the 'Old Ones'. If there was anyone who would shed light on all this, it would be Wesley. I looked at him, my eyes wide with hope, praying he could tell us something we didn't already

I was about to actually apologize to Wesley when I heard Angel's question. I turned around, greeting them with a small wave. I watched them present Wesley with the news, in book form no less. That was never good news. I didn't want to peer over Wesley's shoulder, so I resorted to just reading whatever expression crossed his face.
"Did the research turn up anything?" I asked softly, not sure I even want to know the answer. "Does it have any hints where to find the thing that hijacked Fred's body, and Knox?"
I admit I actually hesitated before I mentioned Knox's name. I was walking on thin ice to begin with, knowing Wesley's attitude toward him.
