Congrats on the weight loss so far! Thirty pounds is significant. I bet your clothes feel looser. I recommend taking your measurements once a week or once a month, getting a couple new outfits that fit your smaller figure, and celebrating other non-scale victories. I also strongly suggest adding in exercise if you haven't already. I lost eighty pounds before I started exercising (I'm down ninety pounds now from my original starting weight), and it was a mistake to wait like I did. I have excess skin that would have firmed up better had I exercised along the way.
My first WW leader always said that she didn't lose seventy pounds; she lost ten pounds seven times. Set mini goals for you along the way and celebrate when you reach them. Good luck!
I've started a new hobby to help me with the exercise portion - I'm going geocaching with my hubby and a friend of ours. Lots of walking about!
And hee that's a good point your leader has. I'm doing it online so I don't have the meeting type support, but I should try the mini goals. That'd make it seem a lot less intimidating.
Don't think about the numbers too much, because if you do, you risk making WW into a kind of game where it's only fun when you lose and you don't come back when you gain.
Instead take it week by week, and if you have a bad week on or off the scale, tell yourself that you'll be back next week. Try not to be too hard on yourself, either- the goal is to have fun, look good, feel better.
