January
Jumping around on matresses in old churches to loud techno in the middle of the city and silliness at studios gigs with Amanda.
February
Bruce Campbell. Hells yeah. Michelles birthday party was awesome too, she was spun around upside down a lot.
March
The month of bands but the only photos I have are of me and amanda on a random night when we drank wine down an alley and scored ourselves guest list for 36 Crazyfists. Also saw Poison the Well, Rise Against, Anti-Flag, Flobots, Marmaduke Duke and Russell Brand. March was good.
April/May
April and May kinda sucked, I worked a lot and 3 years of crap came to an end. So instead have a pic of multi coloured vodka cakes I made (read: bought a box of cake mix and lied and nearly knocked myself out with) in June, and my god daughter instead.
June
Download. Those are some of the people who were awesome and the guy in the top is Graham. He is responsible for those cakes further up, he claims I offered to make them the week after download, I was very drunk so I don't really believe him but I kept my end of the promise and I haven't been able to get rid of him since. Which is awesome.
July
I graduated! In a very short skirt...This wasn't good, I was sitting down forever and when I stood up I needed to yank it down. Try doing that subtly in Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. It doesn't work.
August
August got off to a bad start, we were meant to go to Salou and Thorpe Park and zoom around on rollercoasters. A rather fateful night out landed a group of us in A&E and Graham had to get a metal plate in his cheek, in the middle of what was meant to be Salou so we had to cancel. We still went to London and took the time off work and used it to do things like go to the zoo/deep sea world/dynamic earth etc etc :)
September/October
Were skint. Thats Lou, a friend of Grahams, suiting a hat at halloween.
November
We went here! To make up for the loss of Salou. Thats tenerife, costa adeje. Thats also our balcony. It was amazing. Also slightly hard to believe that a month ago was swimming outdoors in perfect weather and now there's nothing but snow everywhere. At least its good snow.
There are not pics from December because I'm lazy :)
I made a new years resolution last year that I could keep, to go see a different live band every month. Nice and easy and I done it. So I'm happy. Including a fair few I didn't think I'd ever see (Journey, ZZ Top and Bruce Springsteen being the main ones :D)
Yep, this has been a good year. I approve.
Anyway I'm working till 4pm on Christmas eve. Which means I should sleep. So have a good one :o)
