I'm often amused by those who try to put what it is we do, as actors, into some gigantic greater world-context. All things considered, we're no more important than the children I see in the park two streets over from my house, running around playing Pirates of the Carribean on the playset that, if you squint, and look at it through the eyes of a ( Read more... )

Tomato basil with plain cream cheese. A plain bagel with raspberry cream cheese. A cinnamon bagel with apple cinnamon cream cheese. One little food, so many varieties.

Simple is good. I'm happy to see you updating again.

You've got a whole cream cheese motif going there. It's interesting.

Bagels are just wrong without it. That is, unless you have yourself a toasted bagel sandwich, of course.

Honey butter. It's all about the honey butter. It's in some restaurants, but not near enough. Which is why I prefer a gritty little road-side diner most of the time. That, and there's so much more in the way of good atmosphere.

I want to say so many things. I think I'm smiling too much to even make a list. Something about...that's why I love acting. That we can play. I love going to work and getting to pretend to be someone else. Like 'The Last Shot'. I got to play an actress who was full of herself and all fake. Bad dye job, huge tits. It was a blast. What those kids did on a playground, I do on a stage. I see a set and I just...it almost gets the better of me. I want to pounce on it, examine everything, start doing lines. Start becoming someone else. Okay, I might not look at the world completely unjaded. But sometimes you have to be a little realistic to appreciate the change in being someone else. Maybe not.

How did you know that I love honey butter? Good surprise. Very.

See, your breasts? Perfect just the way they are, thank you.

I'm a genius. That's how I knew. Glad you liked it. I plan on keeping with this little surprise Toni thing as often as I can think of good things with which to surprise you.

Oh I plan to hold on to my inner child well into my old age.

Hi Bruce. I've been away a while and just saw Toni's journal. I'm all smiles now.

A freshly baked bagel
I read "A freshly baked angel" at first... I haven't got a clue where that came from, but it would certainly have made for an interesting conversation. "So... what does a freshly baked angel taste like? And do you always put honey butter on those? I hear raspberry jam's supposed to be really good, as well."

My daughters made me Christmas cookies in the shape of angels one year. I can safely say that a freshly baked angel tastes vaguely of cinnamon. Rumer was in her put-cinnamon-in-everything stage.

I had the choice, I could comment something abnormally long, or I could post. I chose the former, obviously ( ... )
