honestly.
friendships change. jenny said keri would be hard to buy a christmas present for because she is not the same keri she was 2 years ago. this is true. but i think it is all for the best. when you look for friends what are the particular qualities tha pull you in. my new friend requirement is sincerity. being sincere is an amazing thing. i feel like

Breakable, breakable, breakable girls and boys.
today i taught ballet arm positions... arm and head. the hardest part was getting the girls to look at their hands with their heads stretched out on top of their necks. i told them to be graceful. i told them to look beautiful. to be long and skinny. to lengthen themselves, to imagine their spine is a string that i'm pulling up through their heads. i told them everything i could think of--- everything i've ever been told..... and in the end, what they understood best was to pretend that there was a giant lump on their biceps and to look over the lump to see the hand that would be hiding ( ... )
