just because i'm pretty much an expert on psychiatric care,
1) stop taking the medication immediately
2) call the doctor who prescribed the medication directly, or if he/she isn't available ask to speak with the psychiatric nurse
3) tell them you've stopped taking it and the side-effects you've been experiencing. hallucinations, particularly, are not a typical side effect of SSRIs

in the meantime, make sure you keep someone close in case you get really bad and need to go to the hospital. if you start panicking and you can't calm yourself down within 15 minutes or so, you should probably call the ER and see if an injection of ativan or some other benzo might calm you down.

stay healthy & safe! *hugs

Thanks, Aimee. I'm very glad someone knows about this stuff.
Yeah, I talked to my mom who talked to my doctor. I took my last dose last night at about 10:00, so it's finally starting to wear off. The doctor said the medication either really works for some people or really doesn't work. So apparently I got the bad end of the situation. Boo.
