I do that a lot. I randomly start listening to something, and then I realize it's because I subconsciously know that the music makes me feel a certain way and I need to feel that. It's very weird, but comforting at the same time.
And those people...they say they hate the Monkees and BSB and nsync, but you know they go home and blast 'em on their cd players. :/
Oh. And buy the Dismemberment Plan cd. They rock. :P

I had a similar thing with listening to Travis, though Travis doesn't hold feelings of the same magnitude as you have for Beatles/Monkees.

And I didn't scowl when you said you liked the Monkees. I always liked the Monkees. And I can't wait for Bright Eyes and I should go download some Dismemberment Plan...

and im going to best buy in a few.. i doubt they'll have the new rilo kiley but if they have the newest dismembmerment plan i'll have to invest in that.
