I've never really written much fan fiction before but I thought I'd do one for this community. This is just the first chapter. I hope to go through the whole battle. It's an AU. Good! I like it so far. Snape seems like he maybe the ass I feel he truly was even after the final book. How I would have loved for Harry to tell Ginny he needs her to stay back to keep everyone organized and takes Cho along anyway!

Glad to see someone else contributing to the rather tiny Harry/Cho fanfiction archive.

And you sticking in Ginny's jealousy from DH reminds me that everyone hated Cho because she was jealous of Hermione, yet it was okay that he was jealous of Cedric in Goblet after the he asked Cho to the Yule Ball, he was jealous of Krum possibly asking Ginny out at the wedding in Dh and Ginny was jealous here. But it's okay for Harry and Ginny to be jealous, Cho, however, should burn in hell for it! UGH! Don't get me started!lol

I moved this over to your new community as it seemed more topical and another chapter has been added. That scene in DH always makes my blood boil. Even rewriting it for the primary purpose of having other characters tell her off made me mad. I would have had Harry tell her to grow up but, as I decided to stick with canon up until that moment, my hands were tied. Unfortunately,I've already disappointed your hopes about at least one character. You'll see who when you read.

There will be more after exams. I'm glad you liked it. I especially enjoyed writing the first original line, although I'm trying to limit the Ginny-bashing to that.
