cat, i'm a bit wary since the last time i tried to make you feel better i think i just came off as an asshole.

i know we don't know each other that well and i really don't know much about what's going on in your life right now. what i do know though is that you are absolutely wonderful. you're bright and amiable and creative and you've got a smile that will chase away thunderclouds (though you don't strike me as the type of person who'd ever admit to any of this). we might not hang out so often and we've never really had a chance to talk at length, but from what i do know about you i can tell you are a genuinely good person, and whatever it is that's bothering you so i'm certain you don't deserve it. so if you ever need an angsty ignorant idiot jerk to talk to about anything, know that i'm here, pal.
