The ride to New York was long, but... I got a lot of things done mentally. Lots of thinking, really. Talked to Alishialishia loads... watched a few movies... Good stuff. Pennsylvania was terribly flooded and it was raining all over the place, and I guess our tour guide gave our bus driver the wrong map or something, and we were running behind

Sounds like you had a hell of a lot of fun in New York (and you got to see RENT, lucky! I saw Mamma Mia! when I was there last summer), and I'm so glad your choir (and you with your SOLO :D) did so well at Carnegie Hall!
