i love youuuu

and thanks i mean i just realized yesterday that my dad asked my mom for ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS to donate to the church. i'm convinced they've brainwashed him. we don't have that kind of money. my mom talked him down to 400 i think.

but yeah i'm pretty against the catholic church myself. it encouraged me to be an atheist.

and i think i'm going to do what you said and just get closer to god, not a religion.

thank youuu!

if you expect the worse of things that's exactly what you're going to notice right away and get. so just chill and take things as they are. it's cool to consider both negative and positive things in moderation, not like one all at once.

I pretty much wholeheartedly agree with that your friend above said. I know you know I am, well, religious. Although I don't consider what I have a religion, I am a Christian. I have a relationship with God. And before I was fully a believer in God, I felt the same way you do. It wasn't the same exact situation as Mike, but I had prayed and prayed for someone I knew to get better and he ended up dying. After that, I was in denial. Since my prayers hadn't been answered, there was no doubt in my mind that there wasn't a God. But then about two years later, I decided to give it another chance. And once I just considered that maybe there is something more, my life started to change for the better little by little. As my faith grew stronger, I grew stronger as a person. I became more loving. I cherished every day is it was and did not worry about the day before or what was to come next. Now, God knows I have my bad days. I believe that everything happens for a reason, like your friend said. And it may not always be good ( ... )

thank you so much!

i think i will just try expirimenting with believing in god. and if i'm okay with him and develop a relationship i might kind of go "church hopping" and see if i like a religion.

and thanks i might just take you up on that offer!

girl the thing about having faith is having faith!
you just have to believe that somethings there
just beucase you cant see something
doesnt mean it doenst exist
and god didnt answer your prayers for a reason
everything happens for a reason and maybe
mike wasnt supposed to get better so you could jsut move on and stop wasting your time and god knew that

Merritt, everyone who's posted so far has said EXACTLY what I want to say.

It is very true, that God is not constantly fixing our lives for us. He does not just give us what we want, he gives us opportunity to take what we want. Good things take work and God helps with giving those chances so that you can help yourself and others.
I love you girl and I hope you understand what I mean.

As for the singing thing with Jordan, I keep forgetting you're in choir and I now I just really want to hear you sing. haha, seriously.

I love you!
