Best. Weekend. Ever...aka Comic Con 09 Part 3
So Saturday (Sunday actually) we woke up at 1 am and were out the door at 1:30am, and there by 2am. We got to Jessa's at around 8:30 but I didn't sleep till 9:30/10pm. 3 hours sleep, waiting out in the cold from 2am-7pm sharing a tiny blanket among us and the extended group. It was sorta brutal but totally worth it. We were sixth in line and got guaranteed tickets.
When we got in, we met with Jessa's friends Ariana and Lenni-Carl. We got dunkins and crashed (I didn't). We wandered around the merch place, I bought a fruity oaty bar shirt and supernatural poster. I also got "Some like it hot". I tried on a underbust corset that was sexay but expensive. We waited in line for Amber Benson for about 3 hours. I almost fainted because I didn't have anything to drink and all the lines were long, but I just wobbled a lot and didn't faint. Jessa got me water. Then it was Amber time. We met an Amber fanatic who cried when she met her. Because we waited patiently, we were the first people in line. I got to meet Amber and I was so excited! It went a lil' something like this:
Me*speechless*
Amber: Hi! How are you doing today?
Me: I'm doing good, my name's Jenny
Amber: Jenny?
Me: yup. Omg thank you so much, I loved you on Buffy! You are such and awesome actress and singer!
Amber: aww thanks, I'm not that good though, you should hear me in the shower *smiles cutely*
I love your hat!
Me: Thanks! I love your mittens, you're so awesome! Thank you so much!
*she hugs me-->sqee!* Amber: Wanna take a picture?
Me: Sure!
*snappage*

Ah-mazing. Then right after Amber we went to Joss. I was so nervous because he is so witty and cool. While waiting I read "Fray" (a comic written by Joss) and that comic was awesome. Totally can't wait for the 2nd installment. Anyway, I was freaking out because it was Joss. There was also Tahmoh Penikett from Battlestar Galactica (which I had never really watched) and he was a beautiful man, up close and afar. Randomly while waiting, a guy in a V for Vendetta mask showed up and he took it off and it was Daniel Day Kim (Jin from Lost) and he and Joss hugged. Joss and Tahmoh ate salad. It was shiny. When I met them I was a bundle of nerves, so this was by far the most amazing experiences where I display a spectacular amount of awkwardness: and here...we...go:
me: Hi! I'm Jenny
God (Joss): Hi!
me: this is so excitifying I can't think of anything witty or clever to say!
God: Well, I thought what you said was thought provoking and straight to the point.
me: thanks!
*to Tahmoh* Can I have your autograph? I'm wicked excited for Dollhouse!
Tahmoh: Sure
God: I like your hat.
me: Thank! It's the Jayne hat!
God: I know.
me: Of course! Cause you're the director and creator and you're awesome *outbrust of blushing and twitching/awkwardness/mild word vomit
Tahmoh: *Stares at me* In canada...
[this is where I zone out because his eyes are so pretty and hypnotic]
Jenny: Thank you so much! I love your shows, you're awesome!!! Thanks!
So it was amazing. I met God. I met Joss. I can die happy (not that I really want to die but still). This weekend was the best weekend EVER!
