I'm only half-way through the series at the moment but I decided to read your fanfic anyway. It's freaking awesome! I love entertaining gen fic, I like entertaining yaoi fic, but having both at the same time almost never happens. At all. Ever. And yet here it is! And I feel that you've got Kyon's voice down perfectly, especially his initial reaction to Itsuki "accidentally headbutting" him and... and...

Okay I'm just going to go over here instead of continuing to gush messily over you fic.

This is really, really fantastic. So believable too. Poor Itsuki! *hugs him* It'll be okay! Kyon's reactions all the way through have been perfect, in fact you write everybody in character really well. But Itsuki needs hugs. Kyon could hug him, awkwardly, to make things better between them!

Thanks as always for your comments! It's good to hear that they still seem IC, especially now while I'm pushing things beyond what would actually happen in the series/books. (Not that it's that hard to keep Kyon in character. Grumpiness. Check. Complaining. Check. Homophobia. Check.)

It's really a shame I couldn't read this chapter earlier, being on holidays... now that I've finished it I can say it was really a very enjoyable read at least~
And yes, the end of this chapter is awfully sad (also because it's so well written), and it was quite an unexpected turn of events, since the rest of the fic so far has quite a comedic feel to it. However I'd have to say the final scene is one of the best ones, along with Haruhi yet again breaking into any buildings of her liking xD

and of course, once again, Itsuki keeping Kyon's company leads to completely accidental and interesting results~
