Whether it's watching the gorgeous sunset, or drowning myself in the sea of city lights, up here alone on this roof top, I can feel myself falling a little more in love with this city as the summer goes on.

This is so frustrating. When will I learn?!

Haven't been able to concentrate lately. Seems like I'm doing anything and everything within my power to delay the inevitable. Nothing seems to satisfy and this void slowly consumes me. So this is how signing my life away feels. I fail to see the beauty in it all. This is going to be a long summer... but who's going to notice or care anyway?

Never underestimate the power of scent as a trigger for memory cues. The memories associated with this perfume knocked the air out of me as if I got punched in the stomach.

Good god, this fluorescent lighting in the library is making me nauseous. Whose brilliant idea was it to put spinning fans underneath the lights?! The constant rapid blinking is sending me close to a seizure!

     It was a relaxing weekend, catching up with Ashley and laughing ourselves silly over events that would otherwise have been ordinary. I'm glad that the trip happened, despite of the much unpredicted drama that lead up to it. It was necessary to get away from Montreal as a friend had pointed out, things have grown so tiresome around here.
