Alright, so I wanted to talk to someone else who felt as crappy over something as I do right now. I don't want to talk to Natasha about it. Thanks to Dan, Arianna's in a good place. And Madsen's still in the hospital with a broken leg. Alex seemed like the best choice

I got his message a little while ago, but didn't bother calling him back. He was planning on showing up anyway, so it would have been a moot point. I don't mind, though. It'll be nice to see Sam. I haven't seen him since before he left for the Bahamas. That's a really long time. I've only talked to him on the phone since then, since I haven't exactly been jumping up to head over to his apartment...
He'd better not be here to try and get me and Carly to make up. I did my part and she repeatedly refused my attempts to make peace. So that's it. I'm done. He'd be wasting his breath if that's what he came for.
His message, though... it sounded off. I'm not sure what it was, really, but something about it just didn't sound like Sam. I'm really curious, but I'm sure I'll find out what's going on before he leaves. Even if he's not willing to, I'll get him to talk somehow. Turning the TV off, I left the remote on the arm of the couch and got up to open the door for him.

"Hey, sorry if you were busy." I sort of forgot about that one. I walked inside and looked around, and saw the bowl of popcorn in the living room. "... Or watching a movie."

"It's okay, I don't really do 'busy' too much these days. It's good to see you." Even if you totally have an ulterior motive, Mr... Ulterior Motive. I really am happy to see him, though, and the look on his face tells me he's probably the one in trouble, not me. Well, that's no good.

"Yeah, me too." I laughed a little in spite of myself. Yeah, it's crappy. I didn't come here to unload on Alex though, so I'll regin it in. Nothing but the basics, and then I'll move on to something else.
"If you ever need anything, or even just a place to crash for a night, you know you can come here, right?""I appreciate it." I said with a small smile, and nodded to her. "Thanks." I wouldn't do anything like that though. It wouldn't feel right. Even if they're pissed at each other, Alex technically is Carly's friend first.
