My dad's a vet, and this is on a poster in his office.... I'm OBSESSED with it.
who is your hero and why: I don't really have one, because I want to make my own life, and not model mine after someone else's. If I had to choose though, it would have to be Maya Rudolph on SNL, because she's soo funny and it has always been a childhood dream of mine to be a comedienne.
why do you want to join: Genna promoted to me, and it would be really fun to be in another community :)
what do you think of the mods: Genna's awesome, and I don't know the other one... can't wait to get to know you though!

gay marriage: Homosexuality is not a choice, it's a trait. The government is crazy to even think they could try to pass a law that forces two people out of love for having different brain chemistry.
president bush: I really don't like that man and what he's done with the country-- especially how he spent millions of dollars on an inaugural party for himself, which could have gone to charity and helped a lot of Americans. Had I been able to vote, I would have chosen Kerry (even though he's not so great either).
the war:
abortion: I think it should be means-tested. If two parents have the financial (and mental) assets to provide for a child, they should not take the life of the baby. If there is a single mother who is, say, a drug dealer and convicted felon, the fetus should be aborted before it is subject to live such an unforgiving childhood.
