who is your hero and why: no.. hero, really. i have a role model. mr. kennedy. he's my fifth grade teacher and my current teacher and has been for the past three years. he's an incredible person. he sees the good in people. he's the elderly monk or old willow tree that you visit when you're lost. he shows you the light when you're surrounded by darkness and buried under financial aid papers and college admission deadlines. his patience is remarkable. he's a great father, teacher, man, human. i admire him very much.
why do you want to join: i enjoy rating communities. probably, mostly for the shameless cam-whoring. two of the three rating communities i was in were recently deleted, so i'm bored with livejournal. i need a new one.

gay marriage: the federal government has no place legislating moral issues.
the war: the war we are fighting is under false pretenses and opened a can of worms that my generation is responsible for closing. that's what pisses me off. my generation is going to pay off the deficit. my generation is fighting a war that the majority of us don't believe is right. the quote, "i don't know what weapons world war three will be fought with, but world war four will be fought with sticks and stones." (einstein) will eventually hold true. sadly. the bush administration has a hidden agenda and alterior motives in this war and it's breaking our country in half, it's killing thousands and thousands of people. the death toll on iraqi civilians alone has exceeded 100,000, it's getting out of hand. fuck it, it's been out of hand.
