is yours a result of delayed renovations? My parents have been wanting to subdivide for over a year now. so weve had no driveway and piles of dirt places, but then it rained and grass grew over the dirt.... 1 year later we are FINALLY moving forward..and now im a dustbowl kid, just like you!

haha not delayed renovations... just a REALLY big renovation... that is taking a long time. The exterior is pretty much done... but its just the inside that is left. And the oustide still looks like a dustbowl... We have all slipped on the mud going down to our front door ans completely stacked it at least once hahah - I even twisted my ankle and had to be on crutches for 2 weeks.

Dad says his not gonna hire landscapers.. he wants to do it himself. GOOD LUCK hahah.

my dad said that... 14 years later and we have a few sparse gardens that MUM created. Mum has said that from now on we will be hiring landscapers.

haha... a similar thing happened to us. The first day... while they were excavating all around the house.. they ruptured a sewage line that wasn't on the council blueprints. Luckily it didnt smell becuase they fixed it straight away BUT it cost us an extra 3000 dollars to fix. Dad was like "what have we started?" haha. So far we have spent over $20,000 in extra stuff - little stuff ups that the builders have done.

Renovations are stressful.
