While a shy glasses-wearing Homura is recovering from heart surgery, her parents rent an omega to "keep her company." Homura refuses to take advantage, either of Madoka's slave status or of the heady, irresistible hormones an alpha can use to seduce an omega. But even though there's an attraction and a fondness building between the two girls, Homura isn't leveled-up enough to protect Madoka from being exploited by others, either. (...Yet.)
Everyone is human. Homura's parents here are played by Izabel (the artist witch) and Michaela. Madoka's agency is run by Roberta (the birdcage witch). Most characters are aged-up; the main five girls are all at least eighteen.
