Harry peers out of his own room at the racket everyone is making and while he can't see anything through the walls across the common room he does grumpily raise his voice.

"I thought you guys were going to stop with the late night races?"

"Not sure I'd hex you, maybe do a full body bind and stuff you in a closet," Harry grins a little, weakly. But doing that would leave his father quite the easy target.

"I meant to blunt my antlers," James rolls his eyes, shifting to stand up. He doesn't know if being Prongs will help or hurt.

"Oh. That," sheepish quirk of the lips, "You'd have to tell me what it is, the hex."

"Ah... I've really got no clue," he laughs at himself, taking a step back.

[sevenyrsworldly]

"Maybe I can go ask one of the others, they might not like me enough yet to start hurting me on sight."

"Might," James laughs. "I wouldn't count on it. It's a little hard right now."

[sevenyrsworldly]

"Still worth a shot, yeah?" He's game to try it, though he's taking his glasses off and putting them on one of the tables. Don't want them to be broken and he can manage to walk across the floor.

James can't stop it anymore and throws a punch as Harry gets closer to him, aiming for his gut.

Harry takes the punch, not having looked for or seen it coming, with a grunt and staggers back a few feet. "You were serious, weren't you?"

"Bloody serious," James stares at him, backing up himself. "Sorry, Harry. I'll just. Be going, alright?"

[sevenyrsworldly]

"I'll...see if I can get the hex still, help you later."

[nonmetus]

"Yeah... yeah, alright. I'll be... somewhere," he leaves without a second thought, still in his pajamas.
