Sinking, deeper, deeper--remember to breathe and exhale, inhale. Looking around, he turned to find Alex as they descended towards to what laid beneath.

A nod when the other turns to look at him-- 'go on' is the motion. Stepping forward, he gets the hang of it and he finds it's not too difficult, but the scene does seem to take his breath away, despite the already present irony.

He had been down here before, but it was a new experience with Alex--his blood was still rushing from the events just moments ago and the danger of being with another who likely was as useless as he was in a fight against a creature like that. With an exhale though, he continues the path, watching out for whatever would greet them next.

Can you swim?
Holding up the screen to the other, he pulls back after enough time is given to put it away. A pause and he tests the water, gives a small push against the ground beneath their feet and finds himself floating. Eyes wide but still full of wonder, he makes a motion to the other, then back to the boat. It'll be faster for them to cut across, probably.

It was strange, to be suspended and to know they could walk perfectly fine below, perhaps even run but there was something about this Wonderland that made it worth it to be in the open-water, obvious to anyone else or any creature within but for a moment his mind was off of it. He takes a moment to speak, but all he can formulate is a quiet reply.
"Amazing."

Hearing the other however, he swims up beside him, lightly punches him in the arm as a warning with a brow raised. He knows the other has said his punishment isn't so bad, but he still doesn't like the idea- save the other some suffering at least, if he can. There are lights in the distance, ones that don't fit in with the tones of the ocean, and it's where the ship is going, so he guesses that that'll be their best bet.

Still--the punch and he jumps a little, placing his hand over the spot. Looking to the other, Timothy narrowed his eyes slightly, playfully in a way. "I'm fine--" He spoke before looking to the lights where the others attention had directed him. With an arch of his brow and look to the other, then kicking off he moved onward.

They're getting closer to the area, and there haven't been many monsters encountered; is it safe to say that they'll be fine for the rest of the journey? Just over an arrangement of rocks, Alex can see the city, and it motivates him to swim a little faster, motion to Timothy because that's where the ship is heading, or at least where it had been going - it seems to have gotten away.

Already close enough, he reaches out to brace himself on the outcropping of rocks, moving to position himself to stand and walks near the edge, looking down. Parting his lips, he does not say much but it is beautiful. A look to the side and the question remains, should they continue? For Timothy though, this is no question--they should.

Keep up--it's a subtle message because there's no doubt about whether they should get closer, both know that.
