[This is Alex heading over! He's a little quicker than usual because he wants to distract himself but also because this is probably going to help him in the long run anyway. Walking into the Rec Room, he takes a glance around, finds Suki and offers a wave as he approaches.]
Ah-- [He's tensing at that! Tentatively returning it because it's not memory week so he doesn't have to jerk back like he did for Bucky last week, but the letting go is quick as he nods.]
Definitely better than the last time we spoke. Yourself?
[Staring for a moment, Alex lifts his own hands for a moment, tries to space himself out as she's done. He looks down to himself then back up to her.] Like this?
[Hope you don't mind closeness, Alex, because Suki is gonna be a little close to help him out.] Almost- [She moves his arms a bit and legs, just an inch. Then she reaches back to punch him gently in the stomach, his core. Not to hurt, but to throw him off his balance. If he fell back, the pose wasn't correct, but if he stayed put, he had it right.]
[Following after she she directs him, Alex is a bit awkward with the close-quarters range but he's not going to be fussy over it. The punch has him let out a breath and he takes a step back with it.]
And that's how you know you were doing it wrong, but that's alright. Try to be like a tree, rooted to the ground. A punch like that shouldn't throw you off your balance. Now, try again, and keep your feet rooted.
[Fixing himself, he gives a nod and readjusts his position - it looks a bit different than the first time and he's braced. fists back up.] How about now?
Long time no see.

[She moves through three poses for him to copy, each was a different block.]
