[His berry had been taken by the plants and he'd been looking for it since the incident had happened--the refusal to answer the calls hadn't been intentional but he didn't realize that Suki was going to come after him.

Currently, he'd been in a predicament, cornered by a few plants- his knife wasn't doing well, considering he was outnumbered and at the knock he turned to door, rushed for it. Opening the door, he saw Suki but grabbed her by the arm, tugged here away from the room.]

It's not safe, what are you doing here?!

[His grab surprised it. For a second, she thought it was another plant, and she was ready to fight back. But then she noticed him and smiled.]

Good. You're alright. [That should be answer enough.]

Now. Let's get out of here. You haven't been answering any of my calls, so you're sticking with- [Sadly, the vines didn't want Suki to finish her sentence. One went to grab her ankle to pull her down, but she wasn't going to let it win.] Spirits! [She grunted and took her fan, flat/sharp end toward the vine, to force the vine to let her go, and luckily it worked.]

[Alex is quick at running but when he feels his grip on Suki slip, he turns back to get her, helping her back up as soon as she cuts at the plants. He's got a knife in his other hand and he's taking in a breath.]

You alright?

I'm fine. Don't worry about me. We just have to get to somewhere safe, which is no where.

[And the vines wouldn't give up, but Suki was able to block them.]

That knife, are you any good with it?
